About Muapee
Muapee (from mua, "to buy" in Vietnamese) helps foreigners living in Vietnam shop online with confidence. Most products on Vietnamese marketplaces are described only in Vietnamese, so expats miss the best offers or overpay elsewhere. We translate searches, explain how buying, payment and delivery work, and collect the things newcomers need most.
The site is available in English and Russian. More languages and features are on the way.
Independence and affiliate links
Muapee is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Shopee. Some links on this site may be affiliate links: if you buy after clicking one, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. It never changes the price you pay and helps keep Muapee free.
Privacy
- We don't require an account and don't collect your name, email or address.
- Your language choice, recent searches and cached translations are stored only in your own browser (localStorage). You can clear them in your browser settings at any time.
- When you use the search translator, the text you type is sent to the MyMemory translation service (translated.net) to translate it. Don't type personal information there.
- The price converter loads public exchange rates from open.er-api.com.
- When you open a search or product on Shopee, Shopee's own privacy policy applies there.
